Andrea (Andy) King Robertson
A former public defender, Andy has honed her skills in advocacy as she fights for clients throughout the state who face criminal charges. She is a general criminal defense attorney, and a large portion of her practice involves the defense of driving-related charges.
Her accomplishments include:
- Repeatedly designated a "Rising Star in Washington Law"," most recently for the 2010 listing.
- Featured speaker at CLE's presented by Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, most recently in 2008.
- 2004 Warrior Graduate of the nationally recognized Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.
- Featured speaker at Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice Defending DUIs seminar, presenting trial techniques to over 300 attorneys.
- Co-VP of Professional Development for Washington Women Lawyers, 2005-2006.
- Appointed to the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association Criminal Law Section; 2002-2004.
- Elected Trustee of the Young Lawyer's Division of the King County Bar Association; 2002-2005.
- Published articles on criminal law in Washington Defense and Trial News magazines, as well as the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
