Andrea (Andy) King Robertson

 

A former public defender, Andy has honed her skills in advocacy as she fights for clients throughout the state who face criminal charges. She is a general criminal defense attorney, and a large portion of her practice involves the defense of driving-related charges. 

Her accomplishments include:

  • Repeatedly designated a "Rising Star in Washington Law"," most recently for the 2010 listing.
  • Featured speaker at CLE's presented by Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, most recently in 2008.
  • 2004 Warrior Graduate of the nationally recognized Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.
  • Featured speaker at Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice Defending DUIs seminar, presenting trial techniques to over 300 attorneys.
  • Co-VP of Professional Development for Washington Women Lawyers, 2005-2006.
  • Appointed to the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association Criminal Law Section; 2002-2004. 
  • Elected Trustee of the Young Lawyer's Division of the King County Bar Association; 2002-2005.
  • Published articles on criminal law in Washington Defense and Trial News magazines, as well as the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
  • Member of the Northwest Academy for DUI Defense.
  • Testified regarding impact of DUI related legislation before the Washington State House Judiciary Committee.
  • Recipient of certificate from University of Washington Extension programs in Forensics.
